How is this Arcane Mage guide made?

It is observed data from real characters, not a simulation.

What is the difference between the Raid and Mythic+ builds?
RAID shows what top raiders have equipped, M+ shows what top Mythic+ players use, and ALL shows both. They often differ because raiding and Mythic+ reward different talents and stats.
How current is this Arcane Mage guide?
It reflects WoW Midnight Season 1 (Patch 12.0.x) and only counts current-tier gear. The update time below shows how fresh the underlying armory snapshots are.
Why is my character not listed in the top Mages?
We only sample the current top players by Mythic+ rating. Low rating, inactivity, frequent spec changes, or off-tier gear will keep a character out of the list.
